The Veritas Sandbox for Minigrids was pleased to partner last week with ESEDA (Ethiopian Solar Energy Development Association) and introduce various opportunities for local Ethiopian private sector companies to engage commercially in the mini-grid sector. The Sandbox for Minigrids is currently in the consultation phase and is documenting the gaps and needs in the sector. Following the consultation phase, Veritas will be taking the feedback received to finalize the Sandbox program delivery design.
We look forward to providing a series of technical assistance. Overall, ESEDA members provided detailed feedback on the capacities that exist, the areas for support, and structural barriers that will need be kept in mind.
