Liilnna is a multi-faceted energy professional leading investment engagement at Veritas Consulting. With Veritas, she led reviews on the existing regulatory and policy frameworks applicable to mini-grid investments, irrigation investment, and wheeling business models. The outcomes of the various
engagements identified specific resolutions required from public sector partners to create an enabling business environment. She also supports the development of investment risk mitigation strategies to attract private investment in commercial mini-grids, as well as investment opportunities in the
Commercial and Industrial (C&I) solar sector.Before joining Veritas, Liilnna worked for Enel Green Power SpA as the business developer for projects in
Ethiopia. She was the project developer for a 100MW solar project which is in the process of commercial
closure. She also has experience working as a corporate lawyer for one of the leading law firms in
Ethiopia – during her time with MLA, Liilnna advised several multinational companies investing in energy,
mining, hospitality, packing, and manufacturing sectors.
