Enas has intersecting senior-level experience in agriculture, infrastructure, and innovation from both the private sector and development practitioner lens. With Veritas she served as a project manager on the identification of productive use cases for the off-grid PV sector in Ethiopia; this included feasibility assessments for commercial irrigation systems to service smallholder farmers,
developing agriculture and industrial use case criteria, building power and agriculture costing scenarios, and supporting in the development case testing of a mini-grid financial model. In her role as Managing Director of ATTCO, she leads a team of electro-mechanical engineers who actively pursue new
investments and projects within the power sector on both supply and turnkey basis. Some of the
notable projects include successfully installing over 500km of transmission lines ranging from 230kvA to
400kVA in partnership with international contractors. Enas’ experience within the energy sector also includes several consulting roles such as developing a feasibility analysis of solar PV standalone systems
for rural use in Ethiopia.
Enas also has an extensive background working in the agriculture sector of Ethiopia. This ranges from
being a farm owner that included over 50 heads of dairy cows, to managing over 50 initiatives as the
Executive Program Manager at the Ethiopian Agricultural Transformation Agency.
