Atkilit is an investment and energy legal professional. She is the Senior Investment Facilitation Consultant at Veritas Consulting. She provides regulatory and licensing support and other regulatory advice for Veritas clients with an emphasis on the energy sector.

Prior to joining Veritas, Atkilit worked in one of the leading law offices in Ethiopia practicing M&A, foreign investment, energy and power, PPP, mining, and intellectual property law. Atkilit has extensive experience in providing regulatory advice to private investors concerning the Ethiopian power and energy sector, including identifying legal gaps and risks to undertaking projects. Atkilit was part of the team that assisted the Ethiopian government in the IFC Scaling Solar PPP energy procurement.
